Cat Nap Blocks · Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Cat Nap Blocks: Cozy Puzzle ("Cat Nap Blocks", "the game") is owned and operated by Emerge Labs LLC, 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816, United States ("we", "us").

We built Cat Nap Blocks to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how to turn it off.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you by name. Cat Nap Blocks has no accounts and no sign-up. We don't collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location. The game shows no ads and never collects the advertising identifier (IDFA), so it never asks to track you.

Analytics

Cat Nap Blocks uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played. We collect anonymous gameplay events (for example games played, modes chosen, scores, lines cleared, fish earned and spent, items bought in the game), device type, OS version, app version and approximate country. Firebase links these to a random app-instance identifier it creates on your device, which isn't tied to your name, email or Apple ID. We use the version of Firebase that has no advertising identifier support, and we've turned off ad personalisation and identifier-for-vendor collection, so Firebase does not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location or the advertising identifier (IDFA), and the data is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Google processes this data for us as a service provider under its terms: Google's Privacy Policy · Firebase privacy and security.

No ads

Cat Nap Blocks shows no ads and includes no advertising network. Nothing in the game uses the advertising identifier.

Advertising measurement (Apple SKAdNetwork)

We may advertise Cat Nap Blocks on networks such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether those ads lead to installs and purchases we rely only on Apple's SKAdNetwork, Apple's privacy-preserving attribution system. Apple sends the ad network an anonymous postback that says an install happened and a small numeric "conversion value" (for example whether a fish pack or room was bought). The postback contains no identifier for you or your device, we don't include any advertising SDK in the game, and we can't link it to you.

What stays on your device

Your progress (scores, best scores, fish, rooms you own, daily streak, settings and tutorial progress) is saved only on your iPhone. If you delete the game, that progress is deleted with it. Rooms you buy can be restored from the App Store on a new device.

Apple services the game uses

These features are provided by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive your Apple ID or payment details.

Diagnostics from Apple

If you've opted in to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may also share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. We use them only to fix bugs.

How we use it

Only to run the game, show leaderboards, deliver purchases and rewards, understand which parts of the game work, find and fix bugs, and count how many players our ads bring in. We don't build profiles of you, and we don't make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or "share" your information for advertising. Data goes only to the service providers that run the game's features (Google for Firebase Analytics, and Apple for Game Center, purchases and SKAdNetwork), or to others if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the game, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep it

Analytics events are kept for no longer than 14 months, after which Google deletes them. Progress on your device stays until you delete the game.

Where it's processed

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, they use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Data sent to Google and Apple is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum so there's little to protect.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, object to or restrict its use, opt out of "sharing", and withdraw consent. Because we don't hold your name, email or account, we may not be able to link data to you; email us and we'll help as far as we can. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and fixing bugs with anonymous analytics, and on performing our agreement with you to deliver purchases, rewards and game features.

Children

Cat Nap Blocks isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. The game has no ads and collects no advertising identifier. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and the policy in the game. If a change materially affects how your data is used, we'll tell you in the game before it takes effect.
